The incidence of cutaneous melanoma and other melanocytic or non-melanoma tumors is currently increasing. Melanoma is difficult to treat in advanced stages due to its aggressiveness, and early diagnosis is required to improve the prognosis of these patients. Imaging techniques, such as classical and digital dermatoscopy can provide information on structure, vascular pattern, prognostic factors and detailed morphological analysis that can lead to improved individual management. This article presents a retrospective study that aims to analyze the contribution of imaging techniques to clinical and histological data.
