CHEMILUMINESCENCE IN OZONE DETECTION. II. REACTION OF OZONE WITH HALOGENATED ORGANIC COMPOUNDS
In this paper, an efficient procedure for the detection and measurement of low concentrations of halogenated organic compounds by their chemical reactions with ozone is presented. These reactions cause the depletion of ozone amount in environment. It was established that the chemiluminescence emission is proportional with the amount of halogenated compound and the halogen content in molecule. A number of 13 organic compounds belonging to the inferior hydrocarbon derivative class.
