HETEROCYCLIC SYSTEMS WITH N BRIDGE. SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NEW <1,2,4> TRIAZOLO <3,4-B> <1,3,4> TIADIAZOLS AND <1,2,4> TRIAZOLO <3,4-B> <1,3,4> TIADIAZINES WITH POTENTIAL ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY.
Starting from 4-amino-5-<4-(4X-phenylsulfonyl)phenyl>-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiols 1(a-c), X=H, Cl, Br, a series of new <1,3,4>thiadiazoles and <1,3,4>thiadiazines were prepared. Elemental analysis, IR, 1H- and 13C-NMR data confirmed the structure of newly synthesized compounds. Triazolo-thiadiazoles/ thiadiazines were pretested for their antimicrobial activities.
