ASPECTS REGARDING LIQUID-VAPOUR EQUILIBRIUM OF BINARY PROPYLENE- PROPANE SYSTEMS IN N-METHYLPIROLIDONE AND DIMETHYLFORMAMIDE
The paper presents propylene and propane solubilities in two anhydrous solvents: dimethylformamide (DMF) and n-methylpirolidone (NMP). Solubility data have been obtained for the binary system propylene-propane in solvents at temperature range 20… 60°C and the pressure range between 2 and 6 bar. The new experimental data are fitted with Soave-Redlich- Kwong (SRK) and Peng Robinson (PR) equation of state for binary interaction parameters calculus. Next, the calculated solubilities were compared with experimental data.
