Synthesis of phosphonic acids grafted on copolymers with spacer-chain is described. Spacer-modified supports containing N-b-aminoethyl-aminomethyl, N-g-aminopropyl-aminomethyl and N-d-aminobuthyl-aminomethyl linkages were prepared by alkylation polymer-analogous reactions. The method is applied, extended and optimised for gel-type styrene-divinylbenzene copolymers with „5' and „7' degree of crosslinking.
