Synthesis and Characterization
of Some Cosmetic Dyes


Abstract:

The article presents the experimental data concerning the synthesis of some disazoic dyes which are the result of the condensation of monoazoic dyes obtained in their turn by the diazotation of amines: para-nitroaniline, N,N-dietil-aminoaniline, 3-nitroaniline, 2-amino-4-metilphenol, acid 4-aminonaphtaline-1-sulphonic acid and the coupling with BON acid. The synthesised cosmetic dyes have been purified and characterized through elemental analysis, chromatography and IR spectra. Keywords: Cosmetic dyes, elemental analysis, chromatography, IR spectra
