1. What is a Cookies?
A cookie is a piece of information in the form of a very small text file that is placed on your computer or device by websites you visit. A Cookie stores a small amount of data on your Computer about your visit to the Site.
Cookies are widely used to remember you and your preferences, either for a single visit (through a 'session cookie') or for multiple repeat visits (using a 'persistent cookie').
Cookies are therefore unique to your browser and contains anonymised information about how you use the websites and applications.

2. Types of cookies
2.1. Session or transient cookies
These are temporary cookies that are stored in the computer's memory only during a user's browsing session and are automatically deleted from the user's computer when the browser is closed.
This type of cookie is usually placed as soon as the user arrive on the site.
A session cookie is a session ID, randomly generated like a string of numbers and letters, used to identify the user uniquely and allowing the user to move from page to page without having to log-in repeatedly.
Session cookies are never written on the user's computer and they do not collect any information from the user's computer.
Session cookies expire at the end of the user's browser session and can also become no longer accessible after the session has been inactive for a specified length of time.
2.2 Permanent, persistent, or stored cookies
This type of cookie is stored on the user's computer and are not deleted when the browser is closed or restart your computer. These cookies remain on the user's computer for much longer, depending on the lifetime of the specific cookie.
Permanent cookies can retain user preferences for a particular web site, allowing those preferences to be used in future browsing sessions. They ensure a consistent and efficient experience for you while visiting our Website or using our Services.
