Kramers-Kronig Relations-A Procedure for Experimental Data Validation in the Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. Application to the Study of Zinc Corrosion in Neutral Media

Abstract:

In electrochemical impedance measurements the frequency dependences of the real and imaginary parts of an impedance are correlated by the Kramers-Kronig relations. The present paper gives this procedure for experimental data validation using three models of equivalent electric circuits. The application of Kramers-Kronig relations is also illustrated by the example of zinc corrosion in neutral media (Na2SO4 and Na2HPO4 solutions).
