Dezvoltarea unor catalizatori pentru
purificarea gazelor de evacuare de la motoarele Diesel


Abstract:

The paper presents the research work and results in the field of oxidation catalysts in the collaboration between National Research Institute for Petroleum Processing and Petrochemistry (INCERP Ploieşti) and Road Vehicle Institute (INAR Braşov) for the development of anti-pollutant devices for automotive diesel engines. Having as reference the platinum oxidation catalyst, there were prepared and tested zeolite catalysts improved with platinum metals, describing the significant reduction of CO, HC and SOF of diesel particles existing in the exhaust gas.
