Studiul coloanelor de extractie cu rotor cilindric-inecarea

Abstract:

The flooding process was examined in three extraction columns with cylindrical rotor and with different constructive parameters in the water-carbon tetrachloride system. For different operating features, there were established the conditions in which flooding occurred, the velocities for the two phases and the flooding hold-up. The experimental data were processed in order to calculate the characteristic velocity for which a criterial design equation was suggested.
