Complex Combinations of Some Transitional Metals with the Isonicotinic Acid Hydrazide


Abstract:

Complexes of Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II) and Zn(II) perchlorates with the isonicotinic acid hydrazide were synthesized at regular temperature in methanol solution. Donor atoms and the possible geometry of complexes were determined through measures of elemental analyses, infra-red spectroscopy, UV-VIS-NIR, REP, as well as magnetic measurements. All the studied complexes have an octahedral geometry, the ligand functioning bidentate neutral NO. Keywords: complexes, isoniazid, template synthesis, spectra UV-VIS-NIR
