The Study of Protein Recovery using Molecular
Flotation and Ultrafiltration

Abstract:

Two branches of the food industry producing large volumes of wastewater in which organic load is given by the high protein content, possibly to be separate and recovered by means of molecular flotation or ultrafiltration are dairy industry and brewing industry.In this work, will be presented our own results regrading the use of molecular flotation and composite membranes ultrafiltration in processing synthetic aqueous solutions simulating wastewater discharged from both dairy and brewing industries.
