Effects of Bisphosphonates on the Jaw Bone in Dental Extractions Histological and biochemical aspects in an animal model

Abstract:

Histological and biochemical evaluation of the necrosis bony jaws induced by therapy with two types of bisphosphonates (ibandronic acid, denosumab) for use in the treatment of osteoporosis induced in Wistar rats female, in terms of performing tooth extractions of maxillary central incisors, wishing thus to track effects these drugs on creatinine and alkaline phosphatase values in the range 7,14,30 days.
