2-Alkylimino-4-(2-Hydroxyaryl)-1,3-Dithiols Derivatives

Abstract:

Novel 2-alkylimino-4-(2-hydroxyaryl)-1,3-dithiols have been synthesized by the reaction of the corresponding 4-(2-hydroxyaryl)-2-(N,N-dialkylamino)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylium salts with primary alkyl amines. The imines were obtained as a 1:1 mixture of syn/anti isomers. These derivatives were characterized by NMR and MS spectrometry, UV-Vis and IR spectroscopy.
