Comparative Spectrometric Study of Two New
Azo Stilbenic Dyes

Abstract:

The aim of this project is the study of two new azo dyes obtained by synthesis. The determinations have three directions: fundamental analytical properties, microbiological effects and hystological marker properties. This research presents the results concerning analytical properties determinations by spectrometric means. Standard solutions of the dyes were analyzed in order to determine spectral profiles in UV-VIS region, ionization constants and isosbestic points in all pH range. Fundamental analytical characterization of the new azo dyes is the first step in order to research relashionship between the dye and the strains where interaction was observed. On the other hand, future research will be focused on explaining the remarkable hystological marker properties on the central nervous system slides [1].
